Volunteer
Volunteer at the Harvest Home Fair!

We have volunteer meetings the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Harvest Home Park Lodge at 6:30pm from May - August! EVERYONE is welcome to come and get involved!

If you can't make the meeting, but still want to volunteer at the fair, send us and email here, and let us know how you'd like to help!
The Harvest Home Fair is a tradition older than Cheviot itself, and it's going to take the whole community coming together to keep it going for generations to come!

It takes a LOT of volunteers to make the Harvest Home Fair happen every year and we always need new people to help out! We need people to be part of the planning process, chairing committees as well as people to work the parade and fair. It's a lot of fun and volunteers get free entry to the fair, we also offer service hours and have many fundraising opportunities for local non-profits. Keep scrolling to find out out about all the ways you can help out at this years fair!

Volunteers that helping with setup on Wednesday are welcome to attend the kick-off luncheon that will be catered this year by Werkhaus Pizza. The luncheon is held inside the Lodge at noon. On Thursday volunteer lunch is provided by BLOC Ministries. We want to share a special thank you to BLOC Ministries for feeding the volunteers and being a big part of our annual tradition!
GATE / PARKING VOLUNTEERS
We're looking for volunteers to cover the parking gates and guest entrances to the fair. Since these volunteers are dealing with cash, we're asking for volunteers that are Harvest Home Association or Kiwanis members, family & friends or are members of local community organizations that participate with the fair. Please show up 15 minutes before your shift starts.
Gate Chair: Margaret Ungar

These volunteers will either check IDs, help with wristbands, or take payment via cash or credit cards.
There are (2) Ticket Gates, One on Northbend and one on Davis and we need a minimum of 5 volunteers per location to keep up with the lines. We do ask that any volunteers that are handling cash be Harvest Home Fair Association or Kiwanis members, family & friends or members of local community organizations that participate with the fair. In addition to running the Kitchen during the fair we have to set up the area with additional equipment a few days before the fair and take it down afterwards. During the fair we need volunteers to help with the cooking, serving, selling and cleaning up. It's a BIG job working with a great crew!
