Art Show

Each year during the Harvest Home fair the annual Art Show offers local artists the opportunity to display their work. First, second and third place prizes are awarded in three categories listed below.
We will again have a special category celebrating the theme of the 2023 Harvest Home Fair. This year's theme has yet to be determined. A separate prize will be awarded for the single winning piece of artwork in this category.

Art Show Rules and Instructions

Artists 17 years of age or over are invited to submit paintings and drawings. No sculpture can be accepted.

Entry must be the original work of the person submitting it and must be framed and wired for hanging with artist's name, address and telephone number on the back. No work is to measure more than 42" wide or high, including frame.

Works must be delivered to Harvest Home Park on Wednesday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm or Thursday or from 8:00am - noon. Judging will be on Friday.

Works must be reclaimed between 7:00pm- 8:30pm on Sunday or between 5:00pm - 7:00pm Monday with the claim ticket that was provided upon entering.

Entry Fee - $10.00 for each entry - limit three entries.

Works may be individually priced and sold by the artist. All legal and tax details must be handled by the artist.

Photographs are not included in the Art Show, however you can enter them in the Hobby Category of the General Exhibits.

Art Show will be displayed in closed building, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

All entries subject to acceptance by Registration Committee.
Art Show Judging
The Harvest Home Fair Art Show will have a pair of highly qualified judges judging our entries this year.
Carol Stephanopoulos

Studied art and graphic design at Miami University and the University of Dayton.
-
She has won over 50 awards for portraiture, oils, acrylics,watercolor and photography.

Her fine arts teaching career has included junior and senior high schools as well as graphic design and illustration at Sinclair College.

She has owned a graphic design company as well as having painted numerous fine art commissioned works for private collectors such as Boston Museum of Science, Xerox Corporation, Wright Patterson AFB, Kettering Medical Center and others.

Currently painting commissioned art work and teaching art classes at the Green township Senior Center.
Sylvia Rombis

Is a west side resident and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati in business administration with a Masters Degree in Design.

For over 25 years as an art professional, corporations and private collectors have trusted Sylvia’s skills as an art consultant, dealer and curator of fine art.

Sylvia left the field of product design with the U.S. Shoe Corporation to pursue her passion for fine arts.

In 1998 she purchased the renowned Malton Gallery, Cincinnati’s oldest contemporary art gallery. The Malton Gallery ,which expanded to a high visibility location in Hyde Park in 2008, has represented some of the world’s most renowned contemporary artists.

In 2018 the Malton Gallery gallery moved to ADC Fine Arts with 13,000 sq. feet of space to become one of the largest contemporary art galleries in the Midwest
